random moments from the past week

this short post is exactly as the name implies, just a few random moments captured from the past week or so.

students really use those curtains to their advantage.  nap room, gossip hideout, makeout getaway?  who knows…

japanese students are pretty innocent, so they were probably discussing strategy for marching band practice

while walking down the hallway, i ran across a public art piece/unfinished breakfast.  our school is obsessed with cleanliness so i’m surprised it was even there.  maybe everyone admires the perfect placement of sandwich upon “WONDA – wonderful coffee!”  (shouldn’t it be “wonda – wondaful coffee?”  i’m just saying, if you’re gonna engrish the name, go for broke!)

or even "wonder - wonderful coffee"

i saw a large concentration of foreigners at my japanese test (which i possibly failed due to snotting my brains and hacking my lungs out) including this cute chinese kid who finished the test in half the required time and spent the remainder of the time shaming everyone else by playing with his little toy car.  screw that little bitch.

no, i didn't get a pic of the kid. didn't wanna seem like a pedophile.

finally, on the way home from my japanese test, i saw a weird thing on the train tracks.  it looked like an ancient torture device: spikes on the ground that you could avoid until something ran over you from above, impaling you from the bottom.  a pretty painful way to go…

at least ONE person has died on those things. i just know it!
